Lolita Blog Carnival : Lolita Plans for 2015

hi everyone!
right now Boston (and most of the Northeast!) is being hit hard by yet another snowstorm. what better way to pass the time than daydreaming about my plans (without snow please) for the year? <3

Katsucon (February 13th-15th)
this will hopefully be this week! i'm worried about snow delaying or ultimately cancelling my trip, but i've been looking forward to Katsucon for months! it's my favorite anime convention - during the end of the convention season through the winter, cosplayers work on their most impressive and detailed costumes to bring to this gorgeous location. there are always very friendly lolitas that attend as well, and i'm looking forward to seeing my friends in the Baltimore/DC area. there will be a lolita luncheon as well as a swap meet~!

Anime Boston (April 3-5)?
Anime Boston is up in the air for me at this point, since i haven't had the best experiences there in recent years. i am however hoping to become more involved in the Boston comm's annual Lolita 101 panel! usually there is a meetup as well.

??
i'm hoping to save from after Katsucon through the fall, but in the meantime i'd like to visit other surrounding communities in the meantime. ideally i'd like to attend a meetup from Maine, Connecticut, and New York!

Rufflecon (October 2-4)

the reason why i'm hoping to save up money from February-October is because of my plans for the end of the year! i had such a blast at Rufflecon this past year, that i'm looking forward to RC '15 even more! one of my best friends is also getting married during RC weekend and has encouraged us to wear lolita~ it'll be fun to wear something more gothic in tribute to the bride :)

in 2013, i attended my first brand party at AP SF's 3rd Anniversary. i missed out last year since the date was too close to Thanksgiving, but i'm really hoping that this year, i'll be able to go! i love being able to meet up with the Bay Area community~ they are super laid back and fun to be around! i enjoyed my time meeting people from all over the world at the hostel i stayed at, and San Francisco is one of my favorite places in the world. i can't wait to go back to visit!

what plans do you have in store for 2015?

until next time!
