this holiday season has been incredibly stressful for me, so blog posts have fallen by the wayside.

hello everyone!

now that Thanksgiving is on the horizon, the holiday season is officially looming over us. since i work a job in retail, the holidays are challenging for me in that i'm always short on time to think about what i'm bringing to Thanksgiving dinner, or what gifts i'm buying for my friends and family.

for my lolita friends, i start drafting up lists and pouring through their wishlists in early November. this way, i can keep a sharp eye on auctions and secondhand sites in order to receive everything in time for Christmas. this is what i did last year and it worked out wonderfully!

what's on my wishlist?

my taste in lolita has changed a lot over the course of three years. when i began wearing the fashion in 2011, after admiring it for a long time, i was really into super sweet lolita.

over the past year, the last few months especially, my interests have gone away from pastels. this is sort of a crazy thought for me, having always been drawn to the pink dresses, the sugary confectionery style of sweet. recently, my wardrobe has taken a more jewel-toned turn, and my wishlist is starting to reflect this as well.
